| | I had the worst hot-pot dinner last night. Sitting with a whole table of strangers was a disaster. They were three Chinese/Canto-speaking families, who were friends of my uncle. I could only hear Cantonese shouting across the table, with the Chinese style "did you eat this?", "eat more, eat more", "help yourself , help yourself". The funny part is, these people weren't even the host, but they all acted like they were the host. One woman was particularly great at this, she constantly scooped fish-balls/shrimps/whatever out of the hot pot and served to EVERYBODY near her. I don't think I can survive through another dinner like this. "Chinese" people are scary!!
